Hey all,

So this week I’m working on:

  • A new article for Beneath the Tangles
  • Another contribution to the Anime x Lit Crit: Vampires & Valentines collab with Moya
  • First impressions
  • and if time permits, another Saunter through Weekly Shonen Jump.

I may have bit off more than I can chew in a reasonable amount of time, though I’m hoping the US holiday on Wednesday will allow me to make headway!

What I’ve got for you today, in the meantime, is this: Over time, I’ve accumulated a number of articles by others that I wanted to respond to or found inspiring and thought-provoking. Life being what it is, I haven’t found the time to respond to them. But they’re worth your time and attention, so I would like to call them out for you here anyway.

The True History Behind Golden Kamuy — One of the reasons GK was one of my top favs most of the spring season is that it gives a fresh insight into the endangered Ainu people of Japan. Between this and the multifaceted look at homelessness in Hinamatsuri, I had a lot to think about in recent months.

Building a Sustainable Blog — We all deal with the balance that is blogging-as-something-we-enjoy vs. blogging-as-something-we-must-do, blogging-as-rewarding vs. blogging-as-frustrating, blogging vs. life, life vs. death… Ahem, nevermind. Anyway, Scott at MAR shares his wisdom.

Getting More Google Hits — Arthifis shares his tips. He’s got at least one more article on this out since, which I need to read.

Anime and Mental Awareness Month — I’m finally linking this long after Mental Awareness Month, naturally. From Lady_TeresaChristina at Beneath the Tangles.

I think each of you will find at least a couple of these worth your time. There’s more articles I’d like to point out in the future; at the moment, though, the difference between my brain and tapioca is getting increasingly harder to discern. So till next time, stay cool, my friends!
