(to the tune of “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music; best enjoyed by imagining Julie Andrews singing it while dancing around in her nightgown… what?)

Naruto x Sakura would have been best:

then Boruto x Sarada would be incest!

Cho-Cho gave Mitsuki a bag full of chips—

These are a few of my favorite ships!

Hatsume x Deku already have ‘babies’,

while poor Inuyasha gives Kirara rabies!

Yuki and Sakura need to touch lips—

These are a few of my favorite ships!

Please, oh Author:

Make them canon!

Set my wishes free!

Then I can sneer

at the others online,

rejoicing in my— O-T-P!!!

(Feel free to add your own verse, if you feel so inspired!)

Ichigo x Tatsuki would make Bleach much better.

(She would have been awesome if Kubo had let her!)

Let NK and White Cell be joined at the hips—

These are a few of my favorite ships!

Take out Eraser, and Joke is just silly;

and let’s ship the Platelets with… everyone, really!

Authors, take notice—I’ve got a few tips:

You could do worse than my favorite ships!

Please, Mangaka:

Make them canon!

Set my wishes free!

Then I can sneer

at the others online,

rejoicing in my— O-T-P!!!

  1. I hope you sing this in your spare time.
Naruto x Sakura would have been nice indeed. I’ve never considered Ichigo x Tatsuki, but hey…who knows?

    1. I always liked Tatsuki as a character, and felt she got shortchanged as one of Ichigo’s closest friends. Would’ve liked to see more of her, even if they weren’t a couple.

I could sing it, but I’d give anything to see it overlayed over the Sound of Music in Andrews’ voice. She’s so enthusiastic it would be great!

      1. Honestly, Bleach just has so many wasted characters. I feel the same about a lot of Soul Society characters as well.
And yes, Julie Andrews singing it would be pretty amazing.

        1. Too bad all those characters are copyrighted by Kubo—it would be neat to see what other authors could come up with using the characters he created.

Oh wait… that’s called fan fiction.

          1. I have no doubt. It would probably be called a cottage industry, except I doubt that the total amount of any fanfics written to ship a given two characters would fit in any cottage I’ve ever seen.
