Up to 17 followers!

After celebrating reaching eleven followers on Curiously Dead Cat, following two months of blogging, six more followers signed on in a week, bringing the total up to 17! The same week saw us reach eleven followers on Twitch, and a whopping 37 38 on Twitter! Thank you, guys, girls, and sentient non-humans! You’re the best!

A shout-out to the newcomers:

pokeninja90, “Nice Job Breaking It, Hero”—pokeninja90 runs an otome-focused site, which caught my attention with a post called, “How To Woo an Otome Guy in Five Easy Steps!” 😀

kawaiipaperpandas—Aya-chan’s site is dedicated largely to anime reviews and related content. I particularly like being able to find a lot of shows (and ones that sounds pretty good, too!) that I’ve never heard of through reading their reviews. Plus, they’ve got the whole animal theme thing going on their blog, too! Cats and Pandas ftw!

Rose, “Wretched and Divine”—If blogs were anime, Rose’s would fall into the Slice of Life genre. She’s got a fun vibe and is also IRL friends with aniblogger Moya!

Jenn, “Welcome to Hell Zone!”—Jenn’s “anime reviews and rambles” I find enjoyable and usually show a perspective that I hadn’t seen before. That being said, she and I also share more or less the same low opinion about Darling in the Franxx, which (given the astonishingly and unmerited positive reception that show has received) is something I find quite refreshing!

Cactus Matt, “Anime Q and A”—CM’s format and style are so entertaining. Plus his (assuming “he” b/c of Matt) tastes in anime seem to closely parallel my own. So you know he’s all right! ;-p

Scott, “Mechanical Anime Reviews”—Scott, like yours truly, doesn’t stick to a particular format when discussing anime, opting for a range of approaches and interesting concepts. There is, in fact, nothing mechanical about his reviews! Take a look at his most recent post, on what if How to Keep a Mummy belonged to a different genre

My thanks to all of you!

    1. Thank you, Scott! I figure these things take time: I’m a relative novice in the aniblogging world. And at the end of the day, it’s not about the numbers, it’s about the relationships, and having fun with like-minded folk such as yourself. 🙂

        1. You’re right. I just feel very encouraged and supported by the rest of you, which makes it easier. ☺️
