Hey folks, it was one year ago today that I launched Curiously Dead Cat! Perhaps appropriately, I’m the closest to being drunk that I’ve been in years. Not three sheets to the wind, but likely two.

More appropriately, I had the opportunity this evening to expound at some length about why I love anime to an audience of phenomenal people at dinner. I was already deep in my wine glass, so I hope it made sense. In any event, it was an opportunities to remind myself why I love anime and aniblogging.

As a reminder, when I started I committed myself to five years of blogging. We’re already 1/5th of the way there! I’m very much looking forward to continuing to share this passion with you all.

And a special shout-out to Moya for being willing to do a collab with me, and to Karandi for allowing me to do a guest post for her!

    1. Thank you, Crow! Means a lot to me. I don’t plan on stopping after five years, I just wanted to give myself a concrete goal to shoot for. So thank you for your encouragement!

  11. Congrats on the one year. I’m with Crow on this one – by the time you’ll get to 5 years, you’ll want to commit to 5 more and so on…blogging basically becomes a part of yourself the more and the longer you do it.
