Ahhh… At last, at last, I’m off the travel circuit. I’ve been traveling all over the US since October. Fun stuff, but it really feels great to be able to sit down and focus on blogging again!
Anywho, while in Louisville this last week, I watched Land of the Lustrous between appointments. It’s beautifully done, if too short. Aniblogger Jenn suggested that I write something about my reflections on it. So I’ve posted a Twitter poll where you can vote on what you’d like to hear about:
- Social Castes/Classes
- Gender
- Metaphysics
- Memory and Identity
Please join in! The poll is up for four days, after which I’ll sweat some blood over the most frequently requested theme.
Also, let me take the opportunity to thank everyone who nominated me for a tag or award in the last few months. Now that I’m less busy with professional life, I want to finally get to these:
- The Real Neat Blog Award; thanks, Keiko!
- Brotherhood of the World (*makes secret hand sign at A Nerdy Perspective*)
- Anime One-Liners Tag; thanks, Jenn!
- Why do I love anime tag; thank you to Keiko again!
- And finally, the “3 days, 3 quotes” tag, courtesy of Animanga Spellbook!
I think that’s all of them…
And finally, you might enjoy my latest scribbling over at Beneath the Tangles about Rise of the Shield Hero. 😺

I recently got round to watching Land of Lustrous as well and it was quite something. Shame it was so short.
And you’re welcome flr the nomination. I look forward to your post! 😊
