As you may or may not know, Humble Bundle periodically sells bundles of digital manga really cheaply. Here’s just a taste of what I’ve acquired so far, for remarkably less than it would normally cost me, as well as a brief discription thereof:
Drifting Dragons
Steampunk world in which people hunt dragons in flying ships. I mean, the people are in the ships. Not the dragons. Complete with DIY recipes for cooking your own dragon delicacies. And you thought preparing a Thanksgiving turkey was a chore.
Land of the Lustrous
Androgynous crystals battle Hindu space invaders.
Clockwork Planet
Electromagnetism is banned, but somehow mechanical gears can do exactly the same things as electrical machines. Up to and including computers. And pause time. And violate thermodynamics, one of the most fundamental laws of the cosmos. Babbage would be impressed.
Flying Witch
About a witch. Who can fly.
Cells at Work
Platelets!
Fire Force
My Hero Academia, except everyone is Prince Zuko. “Fight fire with fire” is taken as literally as possible. Volume 15 also gives us this little gem:
Imagine that: A Steve Miller-inspired anti-hero!
The number of volumes for each series varies: Drifting Dragons came with volumes 1-3, Fire Force included volumes 1-15, and Attack on Titan was a whopping 20 volumes plus 16 volumes of prequel!
More to come!
