People often ask me what I recommend or think of various things. So here they are!* All are products or services I’ve personally tried. If you find one of these useful, please drop me a line and let me know!

Foldup Bluetooth Keyboard
One of the reasons I found myself not always blogging as much as I would like in the past is because I wasn’t always at the computer when the writing bug bit. I could of course blog on my phone, but for some reason it’s just really hard for me to write thoughtful discourse by swiping. Should I spring for a laptop or something?
I found a much cheaper deal: a foldable Bluetooth keyboard. It’s about $30, automatically connects or disconnects when you open and close it, and is small enough to slide in your pocket (but large enough to type on with few mistakes).
It also has a built-in stand for your phone/tablet and is both iOS and Android compatible. And the battery charge lasts for about three months of use or so without recharging.
In fact, I’m typing this on it right now!
Services
Trello
Trello is the service I use to keep track of my life, whether work, home, or blog. It’s simple, flexible, and fun! There’s a free version that does plenty, but I recently upgraded to the “Gold” version for the added functionality.
Oh, the picture above is a shot of my actual blogging Trello board.
Manga
Pride and Prejudice
Some adaptations of Western classics to manga work better than others. This is one of the best. The art is gorgeous, and the mangaka takes full advantage of the medium to bring the story to life with a new freshness.
Tech Toys
Nest (3rd gen)
A smart thermostat made simple. Really, it was super-easy to install and has also been simple to maintain. Connects well with my smart home setup.
Ticwatch
Honestly, I didn’t see the point of a smartwatch at first. “Why would you want a watch just so you don’t have to take your phone out of your pocket?” Well, it’s actually super-convenient sometimes, like if you’re driving.
