I’m flying out on a business trip tomorrow, so no big posts; but I’ll try to slip in something short here and there. 😸👍

Then comes Thanksgiving, here in the US. You know, the day we eat 🇹🇷. I mean 🦃.

Then comes another business trip, which also happens to coincide with…

OUR FIRST BLOGIVERSARY!!!!🥂🎆🎇 In honor thereof, I’ll be re posting some of my favorite scribbles. If there’s one you especially liked, please let me know!

Also in honor of the same, here’s a question for all of y’all to ponder. If I get some good answers I’ll do a post on this when my travel schedule settles down. All right, so the question is: Which anime character would you most like to eat? And why?

  1. Happy bloggiversary!!! I can’t believe I’ve known you (can I say that I do?) for about a year already.
I would love to chomp down on Jigglypuff, you feel?

    1. You absolutely may say so! Between Shiki/Toradora and reading your papers, I think we’ve had a good time of it this year, no?

Ah yes, some tasty Pokemon always goes down well… 😸

  2. I mean, all boys are full of protein if you use them as lollipops, if you know what I mean. 😎 Hey, you know I’ve got a naughty mind. But if I really have to eat them to survive I would go for Sekizan Takuya in All Out. All that hard training must have made his muscles tender and yummy. A shame on a pretty boy of course but if you have to survive you have to.

    1. Thank you for weighing in without holding back! I confess to not being familiar with All Out, so I’ll have to go look up some pictures and… Oh! I see what you mean!

  3. Okay, I’m going to loosely interpret “Which anime character would you most like to eat? And why?”

Because eating anything sentient just seems, you know, kinda awkward. Remember the cow from Hitchhikers’ Guide to the Galaxy? That haunted me…

So I’m going to interpret the dishes from Food Wars as characters, and I’ll choose the first rice dish that Souma cooked for Erina. Why? Because it would remind me of their relationship, which I think is awesome. I mean, when they first met, Erina dismissed him as a country bumpkin. But by the time her biological father had re-entered her life, she realized just how strong he was — and how strong she was, too.

    That’s good stuff!
